Which Atrea units are covered by your filter range?

We stock replacement filter sets for the Atrea Duplex range, the brand's most widely installed residential and light-commercial MVHR series across Central and Eastern Europe. If your unit carries a Duplex nameplate but you're unsure of the exact variant, measuring the filter's length, width and height is the most reliable way to match it in our catalogue.
What happens if the Atrea filter I order doesn’t fit my Duplex unit?

If a filter you've ordered turns out not to match your Duplex variant, we accept returns or exchanges as long as the filter is unused and in its original packaging. Sending us your exact Duplex model code or the measured filter dimensions upfront is the easiest way to avoid a mismatch in the first place.
Can I fit an activated carbon filter to my Atrea Duplex unit for extra odour and VOC control?

Some Atrea Duplex variants support an additional activated carbon filter layer on the supply side, which helps absorb traffic fumes, cooking odours and general VOCs before they enter the home. It's typically fitted alongside — not instead of — the standard M5/F7 filtration, so check your unit's housing depth before ordering.
Can I upgrade my Atrea filter class for better allergen protection?

Many Atrea Duplex units accept both standard M5 and higher-grade F7/ePM1 filters in the same housing without any modification. If you or a family member suffers from pollen or dust allergies, upgrading the supply-side filter to F7 is one of the simplest performance upgrades available for these units.
How often should Duplex filter cartridges be replaced?

Atrea's guidance for Duplex filters covers three checkpoints:
- Check filters every 3 months
- Replace them at least twice a year, even if they still look clean
- Watch for the RD5/RD6 controller's on-screen maintenance reminder, which triggers once pressure drop across the filter rises
Following that on-screen prompt rather than a fixed calendar date gives the most accurate result for your specific air quality conditions.
