Wolf’s filter housings vary by model, so start by confirming which CWL unit you have:
- CWL-180 – the smallest unit in the range, 290x136mm filters.
- CWL-F-150 – a compact 175x143mm filter set.
- CWL-300/400 – one shared 525x185mm filter set covering both the 300 and 400 models.
- CWL-F/T-300 – a distinct 245x177mm filter set, not to be confused with CWL-300/400 despite the similar name.

G3/G4 Standard Filters vs. M6/F7 Upgrade
Every Wolf CWL set pairs two filters with different jobs:
- G3 or G4 (ISO Coarse 50–60%) – the standard class fitted to most CWL units, catching coarse particles like soil, large pollen grains, plant debris, sawdust and textile lint.
- M6 (ISO ePM10 50%) or F7 (ISO ePM1 55%) – the finer upgrade class, available for most models on the supply side, adding protection against fine pollen, pet dander, bacteria, smog and tobacco smoke.
Which exact pairing is available depends on your model – the CWL-180 upgrade path is M6, while CWL-F-150, CWL-300/400 and CWL-F/T-300 all step up to F7.
Finding Your Exact CWL Model
The model code is printed on the unit’s label, usually on the front cover or inside the filter compartment. If the label is worn, measuring your current filter is the fastest way to confirm the fit – the four CWL models use four different sizes, so the series name “CWL” on its own isn’t enough to order correctly.
