Komfovent MVHR Filter Sets – Premium Filtration for Your Home
In this category, you will find filters for Komfovent MVHR systems, one of the most popular ventilation brands in Europe. We offer filters for all Komfovent Domekt R, CF, S series, and Verso R, CF, S series models. If you’re unsure of the exact name or model of your system, our system will help you choose based on filter dimensions. Simply use a ruler or tape measure to filter by size.
Choose the Right Filter Set for Optimal Performance
You can choose from two main filter class sets: M5 + F7 or M5 + M5. We highly recommend using the M5 + F7 set, as suggested by the manufacturer. The M5 filter is designed for exhaust air, while the F7 filter is intended for the supply air stream. Since indoor air is less polluted, lower-class filter material is used. The main goal of the M5 filter is to protect the internal components and electronics of the ventilation system from contamination and potential damage.
As the system is designed to promote human health and energy savings for heating, the F7 filter should be used for the supply air, as it offers finer filtration and helps maintain better air quality and microclimate inside the home.
If you want to learn more about filter classes, we recommend reading our specially prepared article.
Komfovent Domekt Filters – Originals and High-Quality Analogues
Each Komfovent MVHR unit has its optimal operating mode. Like all manufacturers, Komfovent has tested its products, and all the data provided in the technical specifications were obtained using Komfovent-made filters. We do not not claim that non-original filters should be strictly avoided—on the contrary, we offer high-quality analogue products that meet international standards and can be recommended to customers looking to save money. All Komfovent Domekt filters we sell comply with the ISO 16890 quality standard.
Thanks to the technology used, these filters have a very large filtration area, which is a crucial feature. Additionally, the filters are made from a special synthetic fabric that is environmentally friendly. The reinforced frame adds rigidity to the filter and prevents deformation. We are authorized distributors of both original Komfovent filters and their analogue counterparts, so we can offer the best prices, free delivery, and a discount program.
Timely Replacement of Komfovent Filters is Crucial
Regularly replacing filters is essential to ensure your air filtration system works at maximum efficiency and that the air quality in your space remains high. Filters should generally be replaced every 3-6 months. The frequency of filter replacement depends on several factors, including:
- The class of filter used (M5 or F7)
- The level of air pollution in your environment
- How intensively the MVHR system is used (e.g., after construction, in winter, when turning off the system during summer, etc.)
Replacing the filter immediately brings benefits: lower electricity consumption, improved air quality in your home or office, reduced humidity, and quieter operation of the unit.
Feel free to explore our wide selection of Komfovent MVHR filters to keep your system running smoothly and maintain a healthy indoor environment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions ordered by popularity.

Filter class refers to the size and amount of particles a filter can trap. The higher the classification, the more effectively the filter removes particles from the air.
For incoming outdoor air, it’s generally recommended to use higher-class filters. However, we always suggest following the manufacturer’s guidance and using the specific filter sets outlined in your unit’s eco-commissioning documentation.
For more information, take a look at our comprehensive guide to filter classes for heat recovery units.

It is recommended to change the filters in your HRV every 3 to 6 months, depending on how dirty they become. However, the key signs that your filters need replacing include:
- An increase in noise from the HRV
- A reduction in the amount of air being supplied or extracted
Smart HRVs with an electronic control panel and display screen show the volume of air supplied and extracted per hour.
For example, if a Zehnder ComfoAir Q350 HRV in a 140m² home operates at an optimal rate of 190m³ per hour but drops to 150–170m³, the filters should be replaced.
