Same Number, Different Filter
A “300” or “500” in the name does not make two SAVE units interchangeable. VTR, VSR and VTC models with the same number use different filter sizes, and several models come in a bag-filter (BF) and a panel-filter (PF) version. Always match the full model code to the page. Are these original Systemair filters or compatible sets?
We list both original Systemair sets and house-brand alternatives. Each product title says which one you are buying, and each product page shows the extract and supply dimensions and filter class so you can confirm the match before ordering.
Do Systemair SAVE VTC and VTR variants use the same filter, or different ones?
No. VTC and VTR are different unit designs, and each model in the SAVE range takes its own filter set — for example the VTR 300 and VTC 300 use different sets, and a VTR 300 (BF) takes a different set than a VTR 300 (PF). Check the full model code, including PF or BF, on the front panel label before ordering.
What filter class is standard on Systemair SAVE units?
Most SAVE units use two classes:
- M5 extract filter
- F7 (ePM1) supply filter
Some models differ: the SAVE VTR 200 (BF), VTR 300 (BF) and VR 250 take a coarser G3 extract filter with F7 supply, the VSR 150 comes with G3 or M5 extract, and the VTC 200 takes G4+G4. Each product page shows the exact classes for your model.
