Atrea MVHR filters are designed for Atrea ventilation units, manufactured in the Czech Republic. In our range, you will find original filters that comply with the ISO 16890 standard for Atrea Duplex Easy, Easy2, EC5, and ECV5, Pro, Pro-V and slim models. These filters will ensure that the air in your rooms is always clean and fresh. It is important to always have filters on hand so that you can replace them promptly when needed. Therefore, it is beneficial to purchase a larger quantity of filters in one order. In our online store, when you buy more than two filters, a quantity-based discount is automatically applied. This allows you to save from 5% to 15% on your total purchase. Atrea MVHR Filters – Why It’s Important to Replace Them On Time
The manufacturer recommends replacing these filters every 2-3 months. However, it is most important to periodically check and assess when it’s time for a replacement. A filter filled with dirt and debris starts to clog up and becomes less efficient at letting air pass through. As a result, the ventilation unit has to use more energy to draw in or expel air. The air quality entering your rooms worsens because it is not properly cleaned. In other words, a filter that is not replaced on time will degrade the air quality in your rooms and increase the energy consumption, as the ventilation unit needs to use more electricity.
How to Choose the Right Filter?
First, it is important to know the exact model of your ventilation unit. Different models require different filters. You can find tips on how to identify your device model in the FAQ section. Once you know the model of your air-cleaning unit, you can choose from two types of filters that suit it: G4 and F7.
- F7: A denser filter that traps more and smaller particles of air pollution. It is recommended for cleaning air drawn in from outside.
- G4: A less dense filter that traps fewer particles, making it suitable for cleaning air that is expelled from your rooms to the outside.

What is the difference between G4, M5, F7, etc. class filters?
Filter class refers to the size and amount of particles a filter can trap. The higher the classification, the more effectively the filter removes particles from the air.
For incoming outdoor air, it’s generally recommended to use higher-class filters. However, we always suggest following the manufacturer’s guidance and using the specific filter sets outlined in your unit’s eco-commissioning documentation.
